From humble beginnings to bold ambitions
The seed for SM Digital was planted long before it became a business.
Born from a deep desire to create, serve and make a difference, the agency was officially registered in 2020 by Siviwe Mbele, a software engineer and founder who envisioned using digital innovation as a bridge - connecting underserved communities, businesses and young creatives to the possibilities of the online world.
Though the agency went dormant for a season, the vision never died.
Today, SM Digital has been reimagined and relaunched with renewed purpose: to amplify brands, equip people and contribute to inclusive digital growth - starting in the Eastern Cape and expanding beyond.
